Learning is personal

Summary

In today's episode, we explore the significance of individualized learning and personal growth. Each person learns in their own unique way, and it's important to recognize and embrace this truth. By understanding the personal aspect of learning, we can greatly enhance our own development. Let's dive in and discuss the importance of learning on an individual level.

Cold-plunge thoughts.

Here's something that people just don't understand. And I hate to say it,

but especially people on education.

All learning is highly personal. Any learning, anything that anybody learns is highly personal.

In fact, it is truly the only way that people learn, is in a personal way.

You can have 30 kids in a classroom listening to the same teacher say the same

thing, and they can all 30 take away different lessons from that.

Furthermore you can have millions of

people listening to a podcast and they all

get something different out of it i sometimes reread books that i've read before

and the things that i learn later in my life impact me in a much different way

than they impacted me when i first read them,

And as I do that more and more, especially with spiritual things like the Bible,

the Book of Mormon, I find that I'm gaining deeper, different spiritual insights

based on my life experience.

And I'm learning about other things during that time as well.

Well, so no matter how much, especially in education or the world of personal

development, we try to say, here's the answer. This is what you need to do.

Every single person is going to learn that in their own way.

And for some people, it may take until they're 40 to realize that they're fat and they need to change.

For some people, it may take until they're 90 to realize a lesson that someone

else learned when they were 20.

And the most important part is that it doesn't even matter. We're all on our own individual paths.

Comparing ourselves to each other doesn't help, is not worthwhile.

The sooner we accept and recognize that, the better our individual lives are going to be.
