Weight loss journey phase 1

Summary

In this episode, I share my year-long weight loss journey. After enlisting the help of a personal trainer and facing setbacks, I finally experienced life-changing changes.

Cold plunge thoughts.

I want to talk about my weight loss journey.

Because it's been almost a year in just a couple days and I've been pretty dedicated this year,

I've lost 70 pounds so far which is mind-blowing but where did it start Well,

it started about 18 months ago.

I felt like I really needed to do something about my weight,

but I was really struggling to have the motivation to do something that was

something I knew I needed to do.

So I hired a

personal trainer and I met with the personal

trainer one day a week for about six months and his name is Jared he's here

local in Spokane and he was a good dude really enjoyed working with him,

but I complained about my, the pain I was having and feeling tired all the time

and having a lot of headaches and all that kind of stuff.

And even though I was paying for a personal trainer, I wasn't doing anything to change.

And we met, we would do very light weight, body weight exercises,

if that, and that was pretty much it.

We'd do some stretches, but really we would just talk over and over about what

we believed about life and why we should act certain ways and things like that.

And it was, it was pretty powerful in a certain way.

And really pathetic in another way like there was no push there was no pressure,

which was good on one hand and bad on another hand and.

We just continued to talk and continue to meet and continue to do very light exercises.

And then I would go travel and eat just terribly the whole entire time.

So that was phase one in my mind. Six months, personal trainer,

no progress, no improvement.
